We are looking for a passionate and creative Digital Designer to join our sports marketing team immediately on a short-term basis with the opportunity to become full-time.

In-office (except Wednesdays). Full time. Cape Town.

We are a small, dynamic team of brand architects, consumer psychologists, and experiential enthusiasts. We happen to specialize in sport; from teams to brands, products, and events. Located just off Bree Street, Cape Town, we service an exciting mix of local and overseas clients across a broad range of touchpoints and services.

If you have an innate interest, or even love, for sports and you consider yourself passionate about how to drive experience through design then this role is for you.

From this internship, you will gain valuable insight and experience in:

• Working on different client campaigns

• Designing for different audiences, internationally.

• Creating artwork for different platforms and touchpoints (web, email, social, paid, print, etc)

• Honing your skills across a range of platforms and programs

• An understanding for wider-campaign strategies

• Both developing creative identities from scratch and working within provided guidelines.

• Designing with consumer psychology in mind.

• Actively participate in design discussions and strategy meetings

• Execute on industry trends

• Engage in design research

• Work closely with social media manager to plan content

• Work closely with project manager to interpret client briefs

Technical:
Mastering of the Adobe Creative Suite, including:

• Photoshop
• Illustrator

You Have/Are:

• A portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills

• Passion for Graphic Design and human-centric design

• A meticulous approach to typography, color, composition, balance, and hierarchy

• Strong creative design and multitasking skills

• Detail-oriented

• Creative Boundary Pusher
