JUNIOR DESIGNER WANTED:
Looking for a junior designer to be part of digital printing and laser cutting production house, emphasis on Desktop publishing, product design and digital print/design.
Developing concepts and artwork, creating design solutions from concept through to completion.
Responsible for developing and creating both digital and print design for a wide range of print and mixed media campaigns, signage and advertising.
Candidate will learn and work with digital as well as wide format printing, vinyl decal cutting and printing as well as CNC production via laser cutting and engraving
List of expected job requirements
- Gather existing materials or work with designers and writers to create new artwork or text
- Position artwork and text on the page layouts
- Check proofs, or preliminary layouts, for errors and make corrections before sending off to production
- Send final files to print or otherwise print the documents on a high-resolution printer
GRAPHICS DESIGNER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Problem Solving capabilities.
• Confidence in dealing with projects and clients
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven competence in design and creative thinking
• Professional approach to time, costs and deadline.
• Design logos, brochures, pamphlets, signs & banners.
NOT NECESSARY BUT, FAVOURED:
- Brand & Marketing design experience.
• Creative and on top of industry trends. - Fluent in English,and Afrikaans ,
- Have a flair for writing and social media such as twitter, face book, whatsapp etc.
• IT skills
