In this role, you will serve as a linchpin in their projects, meticulously converting conceptual designs and engineering specifications into comprehensive technical drawings and manufacturing plans. Your contributions will be instrumental in upholding the quality and success of their projects, ensuring they consistently meet and exceed industry standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Design: Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints based on engineering specifications and project requirements. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and precise drawings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and make necessary revisions to drawings as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings and plans are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions, ensuring easy access and retrieval when needed.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address design and drafting issues as they arise during the project, working proactively to find solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest CAD software and industry standards to maintain proficiency and contribute to the teams growth.
Qualifications:
- Diploma: A diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Draughting.
- 3 years of experience in drafting and design, preferably in a related industry (Minerals Processing Equipment / Mechanical Equipment)
- With practical knowledge / experience in the Fabrication Process.
- AUTOCAD Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor etc..
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail is crucial for producing accurate and precise technical drawings.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other professionals.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve design and drafting issues efficiently.
