Junior Draughtsman

Responsibilities

Draughting of product client drawings
Detailed design and drawings of products and sub-assemblies for manufacture
Determining BOM cut sizes based on designs
Drawing of flat stages for bending and punching
Design and drawing of manufacturing assembly and welding jigs
Ensuring designed parts meet the required standards
Maintaining relevant drawing folders
Drawing existing tooling
Drawing and designing machines and machine parts for maintenance requirements
Assisting with technical problem-solving that may arise during production or product development
Programming of CNC punching machine when required (part of Individual Development Plan)

Requirements

Technical draughting qualification or diploma
Experience in sheet metal fabrication (preferred)
Proficiency in Inventor/SolidWorks (advantageous)
Experience with punching programs for CNC punching machines (advantageous)
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Positive attitude
Problem solver
Good communicator
Hard-working
Own transport
