This role is a strictly administrative position.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Administer Performance Management program
- Schedule and record probation interviews
- Conduct probation discussions of all new staff members. Inform HRM if there are any concerns that need to be addressed.
- Send out confirmation of permanent letters or extension of probation letters
- Assist with updating Job Descriptions
- Co-ordinate all planned training activities and liaise with the training providers (internal and external)
- Booking of all training and timeous payment of all training.
- Assist the HRM with the administration of the WSP, also the capturing of planned & actual training on system
- Keeping record of all training conducted
- Work with the HRM to ensure timeous completion of deliverables
- Ensure that all managers and employees are aware of policies and procedures in the workplace
- Ensure that disciplinary action taken is consistent, fair, procedural and substantively correct
- Distribute disciplinary letters
- Keep disciplinary records filed and updated on applicable spreadsheet
- Assist with BBBEE verification audit file on all relevant elements of the scorecard
- Must have a basic understanding of the current BBBEE legislation
- Ensure that selection of candidates assist the organization in terms of employment equity
- Assist with EE reporting
- Assist Payroll Department with Payroll
- Assist with internal functions for staff as requested
- Assist HRM with ad hoc tasks
- Assist HRM with Health & Safety secretarial admin
