A well-known Chemical raw material company requires a junior sales person to develop new business and manage Key Accounts within the agricultural and animal nutrition manufacturing markets selling chemical raw materials/ chemical additives. Minimum requirements for the role:
- A science degree or diploma or related qualification in Agriculture is essential for this role. Alternatively, candidates can bring a business degree with relevant experience ( no more than 2 years) in the Agricultural industry.
- The ideal person will be a graduate with an Agriculture or Animal Nutrition qualification who wants to move into a junior sales role selling chemical raw materials in the Agricultural Crop Protection and Animal Feed manufacturing industries.
- Person must have excellent written and verbal communication skills - an outgoing sales personality and not be scared to visit customers to develop new business.
- Must be resilient, and able to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Must be computer literate.
- Managing all key accounts within the agricultural and animal nutrition markets.
- Maintaining existing key accounts as well as identifying new opportunities.
- Developing and expanding product segments with strategic importance.
- Providing technical advice to customers on the development of formulations and trials.
- Conducting market analysis of customers, products, competitors and application markets.
- Presenting reports to senior management regarding strategic market growth and KPIs.
- Collaborating and participating in trade fairs and customer seminars as sales promotion measures introducing new product ranges, concepts and applications to the market
