Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment in the plastics manufacturing plant.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with production equipment.
- Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of production processes.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and PLCs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Valid driver's license.
