Responsibilities:
The role covers but is not limited to:
- Offering administrative assistance, facilitating purchase order generation, accelerating order processes, preparing and disseminating shipping documents, maintaining supplier pricing, and managing approved supplier records.
- Following up with suppliers and/or clients
- Managing inventory
- Establishing and maintaining the product data master schedule.
- Serving as the primary responder for all internal inquiries concerning pricing, lead times, availability, open order books, order schedules, and shipping status.
- Overseeing daily administration and creation of company inventory records, in conjunction with the product management team. Attention to be given specifically to purchase related information (Shipping specifications, prices, lead times, and MOQ's).
- Assisting the Supply Chain team in the generation of standard reporting and presentation data throughout the department, which includes KPI capture and analysis.
- Assisting in vendor management, including placing orders directly with manufacturers and monitoring their status.
- Managing and monitoring NPI projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to milestones.
- Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and resolve any obstacles.
- Desirable: 1 year of experience with business systems such as Netsuite or Quickbooks.
- Prior experience in managing physical product supply chains is highly desirable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to present data/information with clarity, accuracy, and conciseness both in written and verbal communication.
- Proactive approach when interacting with external parties.
- Problem-solving orientation with a focus on identifying process improvements and efficiencies.
- Ability to thrive remotely in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
