Junior Recruiter / Recruitment Assistant

Job Title: Junior Recruiter / Recruitment Assistant TalentShore - Remote/Hybrid Must be based in South Africa ( Preferably Cape Town )

Position Overview: As a Junior Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment function by identifying and attracting top talent to meet the staffing needs of our company. You will work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand the requirements for various positions, source qualified candidates, and manage the early stages of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
    • Utilize various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and networking.
    • Review resumes and applications to ensure alignment with job requirements.
    • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability.
  • Interview Coordination:
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Provide necessary information to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and job postings.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with hiring managers and TA team members to understand hiring needs and priorities.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss recruitment strategies and candidate pipelines.
  • Candidate Engagement:
    • Keep candidates informed about the status of their applications.
    • Assist in the development of strategies to engage passive candidates.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Strong IT skills with CRM systems and various other platforms. High EQ
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment processes and best practices. Screening candidate profiles end to end
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
