Responsibilities
- Monitoring operating hours will be from 7pm
- 7am, Monday
- Friday
- The monitoring is divided into 3 distinct areas:
- Monitoring from 19h00
- 24h00
- There are a series of SQL agent jobs that are executed that need to be monitored for completion as they impact the end of day processing for the Client's offshore system, as well as update data into critical tables for downstream processing of business applications.
- The action required if anything fails is to call a 3rd line support (development team) person who is on standby to assist
- Monitoring from 24h30
- 3h00
- Their offshore portfolio management application, has an EOD process that executes a number of tasks to update the system and roll over to the next day
- To pick issues ahead of the 3h30 start of the application team, we require the EOD process to be monitored and at any point of failure notify the support personnel on standby
- Monitoring from 3h30 to 7am
- We would like an operator to assist in this monitoring and to call the first line support person if anything fails.
