Stellenbosch based ISP is looking for a young dynamic person to fill the roll of Junior Technical Support.
Description:
- Assist Senior Support Technician with client support tickets i.e debugging client connections and WiFi hotspot queries
- Setup / Reconfigure hardware,
- Respond to support emails
- Attend to all admin / support / info queries for specific group of student accommodation - examples: How to use Wi-Fi in the building, How to register - Update student database- Attend to student account queries;
- Basic troubleshooting
Requirements:
- Must be between 20 to 30 years of age
- Advanced computer skills
- Matriculation qualification is a necessity
- N+ and A+ certificate
- Own laptop
- Smartphone
- Own transport
- MUST reside in or close to Stellenbosch (compulsory)
- Fast learner
- Previous support ticketing system experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Willing to do afterhour support
Knowledge of the following will be advantageous for the ideal candidate:
- Winbox
- Wi-Fi Hotspots
- Mikrotik
- Ubiquity
- The Dude
- Wireless routers that includes: TP Link, Tenda and Toto
- Google Docs
