Senior Business Analyst

My client is the loyalty and rewards business for a group of companies. They are continuously improving its current offerings and solutions while also adding new ones in alignment with the strategic roadmap for the business.

Your Role Will Involve The Following

As a business analyst, you will join the team responsible for delivering the planned projects.

• Understanding and unpacking the business requirements for assigned projects
• Participating in the design of the conceptual solution
• Describing data movements between systems/platforms
• Designing and articulating business processes required for the implementation of the business

Requirements

• Assisting in implementation, validation, testing, and handover to the business
• Key Performance Areas:
• Eliciting and analysing requirements with the business and creating alignment across functional areas
• Producing quality outputs, including business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, context diagrams, and user stories with acceptance criteria
• Meeting deadlines and managing commitments
• Creating consensus across the design, development, and testing streams through grooming/refinement sessions
• Providing support throughout the design, development, and testing processes until user acceptance
• Stakeholder management, including relationship-building capabilities, interacting at all levels of the business (including executive management), and influencing and creating alignment across stakeholders

Competencies Required:

• Sound analytical capability
• Sound technical knowledge, including understanding of the full SDLC and working in a technical environment involving databases, multiple platforms/systems, and web technologies
• Being a team player who can work independently but deliver as a team, managing conflict and helping build/reinforce the team culture
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently, handling multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure and stressful environment, taking ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables, and demonstrating a strong work ethic and professionalism
• Superb communication skills

Minimum Requirements

• At least 8 years' practical experience working as a business analyst Recommendations:
• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or a similar/relevant qualification would be preferable
• FTI Business Analysis Diploma will be an advantage
