Kempton Park, Johannesburg: WIMPY RESTAURANT MANAGER
Minimum Requirements:
-Fully bilingual with strong English proficiency
-Matric / Grade 12
-Diploma in Hospitality highly advantageous
-Minimum 3 years recent experience in a restaurant supervisory role A MUST
-Preference to candidates with experience in WIMPY franchise operation
-Experience with new restaurant openings advantageous
-Strong personality, dynamic and driven individual
-High level of computer literacy required
-Experience with GAAP and Microsoft preferred
-Must be a team player and well presented
-Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with customers/clients
-Organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork/products
-Self-confident to take the initiative to approach potential customers/clients
-Achievement-motivated to work with team to set and surpass realistic goals
-Excellent customer service skills and commercial awareness
-Flexible, with good interpersonal-, communication-, problem-solving- and organizational skills
-Must have own vehicle
-Stable employment record (no job hoppers, no unreasonable gaps in employment record)
-No previous lawful termination/dismissal at previous employers
-Clear Criminal Record
-To start as soon as possible
Work hours:
Mondays – Fridays from 6am - 6pm and 1 off day every 2nd week.
Weekends: 6am – 6pm bi-weekly
Duties:
-Management of full operation of restaurant.
-Full Front and Back of House Management
-Staff management, training and development
-Opening and closing of Restaurant
-Stock Management
-Control over operations, stock, kitchen, customer service, health and safety, staff, equipment maintenance and administration
-Prioritizing efforts to ensure operations run efficiently and effectively, task delegation, continuous planning, organizing, leading and Control over all aspects of the Wimpy.
-Ensure high standards of quality and safety
-Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and ensure that franchise agreement is adhered to at all times
-Recruiting, training and supervising staff
-Staff discipline – follow disciplinary code to ensure staff adherence
-Perform all shift change functions necessary to keep an accurate record of all stock used and monies received.
-Motivation and discipline of staff in accordance with the Company’s Disciplinary Code and Procedure.
-Maintain integrity of all relevant computer reports by ensuring that they are at all times accurate.
-Manage performance of all tasks that will ensure the proper running of the business relating to issues such as service, sales, stock controls, hygiene, cleanliness, operation of equipment and lighting, water, electricity and general maintenance.
Salary: R 12 000.00 – R 15 000.00 gross per month (Depending on relevant experience)
Benefits: Performance bonus on operational performance system, Provident fund contribution, R 65.00 daily meal allowance
