We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Senior Executive to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the overall functioning of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, as well as experience in creating SOPs and working instructions, and assisting in ISO procedure review, revision, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the overall operation and performance of the warehouse facility.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency in warehouse operations.
- Supervise and provide direction to a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.
- Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory accurately.
- Plan and execute regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies or potential issues.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working instructions for all warehouse activities and processes.
- Assist in ISO procedure review, revision, and documentation to ensure compliance with ISO standards and certifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall supply chain management.
- Analyze warehouse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
- Manage and optimize warehouse space utilization to ensure effective storage and handling of goods.
- Degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in supply chain management or warehouse operations. Experience in implementing process improvements and optimizing warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in ISO standards and certifications implementation and management.
- Must be able to work in Port Klang.
