By aligning and simplifying our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation around everything from integrated specimen management to diagnostic solutions.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible to drive and accelerate sales growth and penetration of BDs IDS portfolio to meet required sales growth targets. To define the account strategy /plans, mobilizational of teams as well as expand current revenue.

Key Responsibilities:-
  • Develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of sales and opportunities pipeline.
  • Work closely with local leadership and the marketing team to identify new leads and opportunities to close business. Own and be accountable for new business leads and current customer base
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of current market, vision of expected market evolution and implications on customer needs
  • Support and expand BD portfolio in current customer accounts and be the first point of contact for customer queries relating to sales activity and service
  • Travel as required to visit customers, and attend business meetings
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and BD core values
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
About You:-
  • 3 years experience as a sales rep and 1-2 years as a key account manager
  • Proven sales track record
  • Diagnostic or Laboratory background and experience is preferred.
  • Tertiary qualification in science (diploma or bachelors degree) /business degree
