Minimum Requirements For The Role
- Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years sales or customer relationship management experience is essential
- Sales experience within meat FMCG industry will be highly advantageous
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills will be required for this role
- Must be computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Must be preparedness to work weekends and overtime when required
- A valid drivers license and willingness to travel is essential for this role
- Developing and maintaining successful business relationships with customers at Buyer to Top Management level.
- Performing daily sales activities
- Actively seeking new customers and engaging with potential customers.
- Conducting regular visits to customers.
- Identifying new product development opportunities by analysing customer needs and liaising with the Product Development department.
- Introducing new products to the market.
- Reporting on KPIs, market activity and current projects.
- Keeping up with market trends, competitor pricing strategies and company objectives.
- Assisting with and resolving client queries within company agreed timelines and providing feedback to all relevant parties.
- Preparing and presenting professional presentations to customers.
- Managing customer expectations.
