A well-known chemical raw material company requires the above to manage large manufacturing key accounts within the personal care industry. Minimum requirements for the role:
- A tertiary qualification in chemistry or COSCHEM or related qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Previous key accounts/sales experience working within the personal care and or related raw material manufacturing industry is preferred. The company is also keen to look at any salesperson who has called on any of the chemical raw material manufacturing industry for the role.
- The successful candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
- Must have good business acumen with good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential.
- Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Developing and implementing a multi-annual strategic plan concerning a key account and transforming it into an annual operation plan based upon the company strategy and customer expectations within the personal care manufacturing industry.
- Developing and implementing key account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are on target.
- Developing a transverse relationship with the customer and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Implementing the sales strategy, accomplishing market objectives and meeting targets.
- Establishing and achieving monthly and annual budgets, based on customer information and forecasts and preparing annual budgets for senior management.
- Identify new business opportunities by leveraging the full potential of the companys product and services portfolio.
- Managing and delivering on technical queries with regard to specialised existing and new products.
