Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets in the African region.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Collaborate with the technical team to provide expert advice and tailored solutions to meet client requirements.
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring that all terms are favorable to the company and aligned with our strategic goals.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and forecasts to senior management.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our products and expand our market presence.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product range, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in external sales, with a focus on industrial equipment or related fields.
- Experience in hydraulics or a strong engineering background is essential.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the African region.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional African languages is a plus.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
