Kitchen manager is required for a busy daytime restaurant in Newlands.
Job requirements:
- Reliable, firm, focused individual with strong management skills needed.
- Must have experience in all aspects of running a busy kitchen and have good food knowledge.
- Must be available for all weekends and public holidays.
- Driver's licence is a plus.
- Salary is negotiable.
Job responsibilities:
- Stock: ordering, receiving, dating, rotating, quality check, stock take and costing.
- Hygiene: Cleanliness of staff and kitchen, good food handling practise and HACCP
- Admin: Invoice capturing, price comparisons, employment equity, costing and month end processes.
