We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Knowledge Base Specialist.
This entry-level position is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is passionate about writing and eager to begin a career in software and product development. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our knowledge base, ensuring that it remains a valuable resource for our product squads and end-users.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with various product squads to gather information on new features and updates
- Write, edit, and maintain comprehensive articles and documentation for the knowledge base
- Ensure that existing articles are regularly reviewed, updated, and remain accurate
- Assist in organizing and categorizing knowledge base content for ease of use
- Work closely with technical teams to understand complex features and translate them into user-friendly content
- Monitor feedback and usage metrics to continually improve the quality and relevance of the knowledge base
- Participate in regular meetings with product squads to stay informed about upcoming changes and updates
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new software features and technical concepts
- Proficiency with content management systems and knowledge base tools
- Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic about starting a career in software and product development
- Experience with writing or creating documentation for software products
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web technologies
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
