Swift Silliker (Pty) Ltd t/a Merieux NutriSciences based in Claremont, a market leader in the areas of food and product safety has a vacancy for a Dairy Laboratory Analyst at the Cape Town Dairy Laboratory.
Job responsibilities:
- The position entails the daily testing of samples, including sample preparation, analysis, reviewing and sending of reports.
Job requirements:
- Applicants must have a tertiary qualification in Microbiology, Veterinary or Food Technology.
- The incumbent must be good at statistics and science skills,
- Team leader (setting a good example), be responsible and take initiative, good organisational skills and able to multi-task.
- Position would suit a hard-working, vibrant and enthusiastic self-starter.
- Previous experience in a ISO 17025 accredited Dairy Laboratory and experience as SANAS Technical Signatory would be an advantage.
