Job Summary
NEOC People is seeking an experienced Shift Laboratory Analyst to join our clients team in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise and reliable quality control testing in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and the clients Quality Management System (QMS). Working on a shift basis, the analyst will perform a range of analytical tasks to support regulatory compliance and meet reporting deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Analytical Testing: Perform chromatographic, dissolution, IR, UV, and titration testing as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Method Development and Validation: Collaborate on method development and validation with senior analysts and management.
- Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain accurate calibration records as per laboratory SOPs.
- Quality Management Compliance: Uphold the laboratorys Quality Management System by following Good Documentation, Manufacturing, and Laboratory Practices.
- Sample Preparation and Documentation: Prepare reagents accurately and document analytical data according to ALCOA (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, and Accurate) guidelines.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Participate in safety protocols and maintain clean, organized workstations.
- Continuous Improvement: Report non-conformities and suggest improvements to ensure optimal use of resources and apparatus.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a laboratory analyst, with hands-on HPLC experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in analytic software and statistical analysis for lab decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail and quality-focused.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Team-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
