Job Description
The CEMEA Inclusion and Diversity Lead will develop, lead, manage and implement inclusion and diversity strategies and programs across the region. The ideal candidate should have strong business acumen, be an enthusiastic, collaborative, persuasive, people minded individual with excellent listening skills and a demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility.
Responsibilities
- Development and delivery of the CEMEA Inclusion and Diversity strategy and partner with the global I&D team to build global programs.
- Ensure the design and development of the CEMEA program with a focus on recruitment, leadership development, employee engagement, learning and communications.
- Strategically position Visa CEMEA as an Inclusive and Diverse employer. Participate and represent Visa CEMEA externally i.e., industry forums and conferences.
- Identifying external trends and recognising best practice which will increase diversity across the region.
- Identify, build, and sustain community partnerships to support I&D initiatives and business strategies.
- In partnership with the Talent Acquisition team develop and implement recruiting and hiring strategies to attract employees from diverse backgrounds i.e. people with disabilities, women etc.
- Aligning the I&D work with the social impact and sustainability strategies which form part of the overall team within Visa.
- Partner with the communications team to regularly communicate internal and external diversity and inclusion initiatives, events, and progress.
- Partner with Visa University to ensure Inclusion & Diversity development programs are aligned to development, retention, and inclusion goals
- Researches and analyses internal and external data, information and trends to present market level insights.
- Collects and analyses statistical data to evaluate the regional population in accordance with diversity standards and goals.
- Manage I&D reporting, drive the I&D narrative with a blend of data and analytics with storytelling ability
- Maintains knowledge of diversity-related matters, legislation, and best practices
- Serve as subject matter expert and liaison to the People Team, and business leaders to develop strategic action on adhoc I&D matters
- Oversee the Employee Resource Groups i.e. Young Professionals at Visa, WVN, Parent and Carers, Pride etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications
10 to 12 years of work experience
Strategic thinking, exceptional analytical skills, and business acumen
Experience developing and implementing I&D initiatives, with preference for experience in multiple CEMEA countries.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to quickly transition from strategy to implementation, working on both simultaneously as needed.
Extensive experience interacting with all levels of stakeholders, including senior level leaders.
Proven ability to deliver strategic and high impact projects
Project management skills and strong execution ability to deliver against tight deadlines
Good command of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build followership and alignment across all levels of the organization.
Experience representing the organization externally as well, with the ability to leverage both analytics and storytelling to drive messaging.
Possess strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally, while also influencing to drive bigger impact.
Team player, one who can collaborate with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
