The Discipline Lead Engineer for Civil & Structural Engineering will provide specialist support and expertise to the Civil & Structural engineering team throughout all project lifecycle phases (Engineering/Procurement/Construction). This role is responsible for delivering projects, ensuring compliance with applicable design codes and standards, and overseeing the Civil & Structural engineering team's work.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Functional oversight of Civil & Structural engineering team
- Planning and scoping of design components
- Technical input for project planning and cost estimation
- Ensuring design integrity and compliance with standards
- Participation in tenders and proposals
- Contract negotiations
- Design generation and review
- Engineering change management
- Participation in testing and commissioning activities
- Involvement in HAZOP studies
- B.Sc or B.Eng in Civil/Structural Engineering
- ECSA registration non-negotiable
- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in the EPC industry.
