Overview
The Applications team was created to establish Mastercard as the frontrunner in the fast-evolving real-time payments space, and to position MasterCard to be able to incubate the development of new payment flows.
The team is responsible for designing, building, and operating the technology that powers Mastercards next generation payment applications Domestic, Cross Border and Bill Payments.
Mastercard seeks to define a world beyond cash. To accelerate this mission, we are committed to building & scaling products & applications that transform payments of any type. Real time payment technology is central to this strategy. The current consumer bill pay experience is cumbersome, costly, slow and fragmented. We are on a journey to build and scale a world-class bill pay network. By combining our RTP experience with our existing biller network, RPPS, as well as other global bill pay assets, we can bring a solution to market that improves this outdated ecosystem for all parties involved. Be customer obsessed: Develop & provide the organization with a deep appreciation for customer needs, the ecosystem and the key market dynamics
Set the vision: Lead multiple teams in adoption of lean product management practices: Define, establish, and continually refine a domain product vision & objectives, establish a product charter, and create and maintain a domain roadmap

Manager, Project Implementation (Contract)

Overview
- In a customer-facing environment, lead a cross-functional processing implementation project team of technical and non-technical electronic payment processing experts from both MasterCard and our customer
- Deliver standard through complex implementation activities ensuring quality and reliability of the implementations.

- Assess and document customer needs and according implementation impacts on customers and MasterCards core and non-core processing systems and platforms.
- Define scope, plan and drive customer processing implementation projects of new electronic payments processing business activities following the global project coordination methodology.
- Handle multiple customer processing implementation projects in parallel
- Experience in Information Technology system knowledge, with a good understanding of network technology, applications, and project management
- Strong knowledge of payment transaction processing and industry business knowledge
- Good understanding of MasterCards payment processing systems, formats and associated customer host interface testing services and principles
- Good understanding of the 4 party model and the full transaction lifecycle for MasterCard brands
- Ability to interact well with the customer
