About the role:
- To develop and maintain a World Class Strategic Acquisition portfolio that creates visibility and access to the best strategic talent pool in the marketplace and that attracts the best talent for Capitec.
- To take ownership for and lead the delivery of the end-to-end strategic leader appointment process and framework, enabling the senior talent acquisition community for consistency and impact.
- Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
- Demonstrate at least 6-8 years of recruitment experience within a fast-paced work environment, of which 3+ years spent in Senior leadership and Executive portfolios.
- Proven experience in networking, headhunting and/ or executive search, with proven knowledge of leadership within relevant talent markets Proven experience delivering a strategy through others (significant Senior stakeholder relationship to ensure delivery) internal & external.
- Ability to build a strong personal brand, and to be a visible brand ambassador for Capitec across relevant platforms, through networking, community engagement, harnessing current attraction strategies, etc.
- Strong application of data and analytics across talent acquisition to inform decision making.
- Industry knowledge of banking / financial services / fintech
- Industry knowledge on Executive Recruitment and relevant tools / platforms / communities
- Knowledge on candidate experience at an Executive level
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a World Class Strategic Portfolio Recruitment process that will create visibility of the external talent pool to attract the best talent in the industry for Capitec.
- Build a strong partnership with the Talent team and key business stakeholders to identify the strategic areas of focus which require an external market research strategy (strategic skills sets /capabilities / positions) and integrate into the delivery plan.
- Identify talent gaps across strategic levels to proactively devise strategies and approaches to research the market and propose solutions to proactively close our talent gaps.
- Design and influence a best in class senior leader sourcing strategy and approach to to enhance internal capability for market research and mapping over time for specific skills and roles identified (search capability)
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for an allocated portfolio in line with delivery metrics (number of appointments, number of starters, time to hire, quality of the candidate, candidate experience, and DEI strategy alignment).
- Create awareness of Strategic leadership value proposition and offerings in the Group pertaining to their onboarding journeys including but not limited to: L&D, onboarding and development, assessment feedback create awareness of this and partner with SPPs and hiring leaders where enhancement opportunity is identified.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners and clients, to have a full understanding of the business and of their changing needs.
