Main Areas of Responsibility:
General and Operations:
- Lead by example, maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
- Ensure production meets quality standards, satisfying internal and external customers.
- Monitor and achieve production KPIs.
- Coordinate with support functions for on-schedule product delivery.
- Communicate effectively, deliver plant briefs, and gather improvement ideas.
- Manage performance, ensure safe practices, and implement improvements.
- Lead, motivate, and report breakdowns for a high-performance team.
- Enhance procedures for optimal productivity and compliance.
- Meet audit standards and improvement requirements.
People Management:
- Efficiently manage manpower for factory needs.
- Implement attendance procedures.
- Handle personnel matters and interactions with Trade Union.
- Train operators and manage time and attendance.
- Investigate incidents and motivate the shift team.
- Monitor performance and communicate KPIs.
Relationship Management:
- Collaborate with support functions for process definition.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
- Interface with Sales and Factory Manager for schedules.
- Maintain communication across departments.
- Provide feedback to improve production and quality.
- Achieve defined production cost targets.
- Safety, Health, Environment & Quality:
- Enhance safety and manage quality control.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Grade 12.
- Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering Diploma/Degree.
- 10 to 15 years' FMCG/Manufacturing experience.
- 5 to 10 years' Management experience.
- Proficiency in Manufacturing practices like Lean, Six Sigma, et
