Learnership (12-month FTC)

RSAWEB:

We specialize in Cloud infrastructure, Enterprise Connectivity, Mobile Data Management, Fibre To The Home and Fibre To The Business. Our focus is on helping customers succeed online by leveraging technology to increase revenue, manage risk and contain costs.

Octotel:

Established in 2016, Octotel is a fast growing and highly innovative Fibre Network Operator. We specialize in the build of FTTx networks across South Africa. Our focus is on providing our customers with the best possible internet experience through a stable and high-speed fibre connection.

• Practical Experience:

You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience alongside the best in the industry.

• Theoretical Knowledge:

This qualification will equip individuals to perform functions in the Network Operations environment within the telecommunications industry. Learners will be exposed to the management and surveillance of ICT networks, TCP/IP network operations, installation and maintenance of customer premises equipment, operation of telecommunications transport systems, maintenance and installation of telecommunication cables, and installation of network elements.

• Upon successful completion, it will lead to the awarding of a Further Education and Training

Certificate: Telecommunications Network Operations (NQF Level 4).

Requirements

• Completed grade 12 or equivalent.
• Having passed Mathematics with a level or Mathematical Literacy with level 4 & English level 3
• Applicants must be unemployed.
• Must not have been on any other skills programme in the last 12 months.
