Summary
The role of L&D Manager is responsible for supporting the capability development of our line management population across the globe, delivering our annual performance management cycle and implementing our engagement survey strategy to ensure we are listening to our employees and acting on feedback. The role sits within the Group People team and is an individual contributor role reporting into one of the UK-based People Directors.

What you will be doing:
- SMART Performance Management cycle the creation of a company-wide timetable, distribute communication materials and virtual training sessions (often to 100s of employees globally), and the provision of general support for our annual cycle.
- Building Capability - crafting, building and implementing interventions (training, e-learning, media) that support the capability requirements of our line management population, and other groups where required. Creation of high quality training and communication materials that engage the required audience.
- Learning Design partnering with business content owners, agree the structure for online training modules on a variety of topics to ensure maximum engagement and understanding of the topic by the audience. Handoff the content to an internal partner to build these modules in Articulate 360
- Employee Engagement cycle develop and deliver the annual Travelopia employee engagement cycle, including handling the relationship with the internal Marketing team who support on the execution of the survey and partnering with our People leadership team to enable a successful delivery within all Business Units
- Learning Delivery - planning and delivering Insights training sessions to leadership groups across Travelopia, in person or by video with robust follow-up to ensure takeaway points have been actioned and embedded with individuals and within teams.
- Compliance Training partner with our internal Legal & Compliance and Health & Safety teams to successfully deliver our annual Compliance training programme.
- Third-party vendor management management of relationships with third-party vendors who either provide ad-hoc support on development activities (e.g. 360 feedback tool) or with whom we have an ongoing relationship (e.g. our LMS provider)
What we are looking for:- Experience of designing and delivering interventions focused on the capability building of line managers
- A creative mentality which you can apply to your design and delivery work
- Capacity to engage on high-quality communication materials including a range of topics and authoritatively present these to large audience, virtually
- Ideally, an external accreditation to run Insights sessions to teams
- Experience working with external third parties and handling these relationships to ensure the delivery of required activities or system changes
- The ability to work independently as the sole Capability team member, albeit in partnership with many internal groups such as the People leadership team
