Position Overview
A leading financial services concern requires the services of an experienced Learning and Development Consultant.
The main purpose of this position is to partner with client departments to identify skills needs in order to design and implement fit-for-purpose learning interventions for staff members and teams in the firm.
This is in order to enhance the impact on business performance and to generate useable knowledge and research for central bank learning and development.
Key Performance Areas
- Contribute towards the firm's learning and development strategy formulation and implementation.
- Identify and interpret client skills needs.
- Design and develop relevant and fit-for-purpose learning interventions.
- Conduct research and design curricula.
- Enhance the learning through the use of relevant digital learning tools, systems, and platforms.
- Engage academics, experts, and other learning providers to build strategic partnerships.
- Evaluate the quality and impact of programmes.
- Compile integrated reports and provide recommendations.
- Establish, maintain, and promote working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute towards building a culture of continuous learning.
- Serve as a learning facilitator/integrator during learning interventions, as and when required.
- A completed Honours' degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Education, or an equivalent (NQF 8) qualification.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years' Learning and Development Consulting and/or Instructional design and/or Facilitation experience in Academia or Corporate Learning.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in an economics environment or a financial sector.
