Job Description
This role supports the Primary Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) and internal customers and external stakeholders on learning and skills development solutions and initiatives in the business aligned to the strategic objectives. This position falls within our middle management category.
Job Key Result Areas
- Partners with the SDF to execute on the SD strategy as it relates to the execution the BBBEE data and reporting (e.g. verification, WSP and ATR) and to OML with Group-wide data and reporting on Skills Development (quarterly responsible business reporting and annual integrated reporting)
- Partners with Segments and supports SD Facilitators to achieve SD plans and targets.
- Facilitates the Skills Development cycle
- Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
- Maintains relevant databases and SharePoint sites
- Develops, supplies, and maintains metrics and reports on SD targets in OML.
- Regularly analyses data and identifies trends to estimate risks or opportunities and delivers analysis as a report for business
- Engages with other practices e.g., talent acquisition, learning and talent development to ensure alignment of SD practices and initiatives
- Chairs the SD Forum monthly
- Support the delivery of various calendar events
- Guides the business on policy and procedure compliance
- Ensures applicable SD policies are maintained
- Contributes to projects, as required

- Occupationally directed education, training and development practitioner qualifications will be highly advantages
- Project management skills
- Knowledge and skills to productively contribute to managing process improvement projects (including system and process enhancements)
- Experience as Skills Development Facilitator in a financial services organisation
- Experience in learning administration environments with exposure to Learner Management Systems (i.e. Workday) will be an advantage
- Computer literacy with MS Office suite with emphasis on advanced excel skills
- Exposure to managing process improvement projects
- Experience documenting learning policies and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of BBBEE Skills Development requirements advantageous
