Needs Analysis
- Gain a good understanding of strategic objectives and deliverables for all areas of the business
- Conduct extensive needs analysis to determine employee and departmental gaps for development
- Analysis of trends, development plans, survey results
HRD Program Implementation
- Implement HRD initiatives that ensure /Cluster/stand-alone BU is a learning organisation that enables the development of talent and creates a high performing culture.
- Partner with HR and OE Specialists to implement programs that building capabilities for driving sustainable, profitable business growth.
- Monitor the ROI / success of program intervention
- Maintain records of all initiatives implemented
- Co-ordinate logistical arrangements to ensure HRD programs are effectively and professionally facilitated
- Implementation of an onboarding programme for the business unit
- Implementation of learnerships for the business units
- Conduct research to assist in the design and development of course material
- Compilation of training material, presentation material, facilitator guides and manuals for programme design
- Assess ROI and transfer of knowledge and skill
- Implement processes that monitor and drive the Workplace Skills Plan
- Project manage the implementation of learnerships and other pivotal programmes for the Business unit
- Accurately record and safely store documentation, costs, and learner information
- Update relevant systems with learner and learning programme information
- Communicate and update relevant stakeholders
- Prepare budget / forecast / skill spend
- Maintain records and backup documentation of all skills spend
- Understand and follow-through on tax breaks, grants relating to pivotal programmes.
- Compilation of skills spend and documentation for BBBEE reporting
- Compile and feedback reports on BU
- performance based upon best practices methodologies
- WSP
- ATR
- BBBEE dashboard info
- Month end reports
- Financial reports
- Identifies service requirements and performance
- Maintains regular communication (e.g. communicates product performance)
- Manages non-conformance issues
- Meetings attended as per schedule
- Departments / staff are informed of information required to meet their needs and contributes to operational effectiveness
- Departments objectives, standards and operating procedures are communicated to internal and external service providers as per SLA
- Managing staff conditions of employment, e.g. Attendance, leave, adherence to policies and procedures
- University Degree or relevant qualification in ODETDP(Occupationally directed Education, Training & Development)
- System Training
- Post Graduate Qualification in Human Resource Development or related field
- 3-5 years experience in performance consulting including;
- Experience in an HR generalist position an advantage
- Proven experience in change management and project management
- 2 3 years Experience working with SETAs and ETQAs and workplace skills planning
- Experience in a hospitality and gaming environment an advantage
