Support Group Learning and Development to design and implement an impactful learning communications strategy, as well as develop content and assets for its various channels, platforms, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in digital marketing, media studies, communication science, journalism, graphic or multimedia design, or similar (required).
- Post-graduate degree in relevant field (desirable).
- 3 5 years experience in learning design, community management, social media management, content creation and/or digital marketing.
- Develop, implement and roll out a Group L&D communication strategy that aligns with and supports the functions strategic objectives.
- Identify the most relevant channels and collaborate with various stakeholders for the effective implementation of initiatives, including across internal communication platforms, social media, public relations and other channels as appropriate.
- Engage with stakeholders to determine learning communication needs and conceptualise a communication plan for new and existing learning interventions.
- Write copy, scripts and multimedia briefs for the development of highly impactful and engaging communication assets.
- Develop innovative, high quality, engaging and experiential learning communication content that effectively motivates and engages employees to participate in, complete and apply learning.
- Design and develop communication assets for the Group Learning & Development brand, including newsletters, blog posts, infographics, banners, event announcements, invitations, collateral and other assets as required.
- Work with the Digital Learning Collective champions to design, develop and implement a community engagement strategy that effectively engages with employees to contribute to a learning community of practice.
- Design and manage a learning content campaign calendar to proactively align business needs and internal communication efforts to learning initiatives.
- Actively manage and contribute to the learning discussion boards, Teams channels, Sharepoint site comments, and other communities of practice as required.
- Ensure that methodologies used in the conceptualisation, and development of communication campaigns and collateral remain cutting edge and in line with industry trends and digital marketing best practice.
- Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge, as well as digital learning and communication trends and best practice and contribute to continuous innovation through the development, sharing and implementation of new ideas through various learning forums and communities.
- Analyse learning data and identify trends or themes to proactively present portfolios with insights and possible communication solutions.
- Assess the impact of L&D campaigns post implementation by tracking and measuring the success of the campaigns.
