As a Learning Technologist, what do you do?

You maintain the companys employee and client learning platforms to the highest contemporary standards. Youre responsible for the configuration, administration, and maintenance of the Learning Management System (Moodle), and MS SharePoint.

You will create assets in Microsoft PPT, Word, Excel and do some Quality Assurance (QA) of learning content in the team.

Must Have:

• Applicant must be based in Cape Town or surrounding areas
• 1-4 years experience with administering learning platforms, working with learning design teams, coordinating learning programmes.
• Configuration, administration, and maintenance of Moodle.
• Full MS suite.
• Learning Experience (LX).
• Basic-Intermediate User Experience (UX) Design
• Strong administration skills
• MS suite, esp Teams, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook.
• Virtual and asynchronous/blended course co-ordination.

Not required, but preference will be given to applicants with:

• Quality Assurance (QA) of learning content
• HTML and CSS Coding
• Formal Learning / User Experience (LX/ UX)
• AI in learning technology
• Ability to adapt to constant change

You should know:

• This is a full-time remote work position, except for one morning a week where youll be required to collaborate with the team at our Head Office in Parklands.
• Working remotely means that you need to be online during work hours, also during load shedding, and have access to good quality video and audio equipment (web cam, headset, etc.)
