THE OPPORTUNITY

IIE Varsity College, Westville campus is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.

Minimum Education Requirements Per Module

Ideal:

• An honours degree with an undergraduate degree in Information Systems/Computer Science with Marketing up to a second-year level in the undergraduate qualification.

Alternatively:

• An honours degree with an undergraduate degree in one of the other Business-related fields (e.g. Business Management, Supply Chain Management) plus completion of Information Technology modules up to a first-year level in the undergraduate qualification; or
• An honour's degree in Marketing plus completion of Information Technology modules up to a first-year level in the undergraduate qualification; or
• An honour's degree with web programming and marketing in the undergraduate qualification.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in Marketing/ Entrepreneurship/ Supply Chain/ Project Management
• Work experience as an entrepreneur/ project manager/ supply chain manager Project management experience in the field of marketing or the design and development of marketing tools or plans.
