Rosebank College Polokwane Connected Campus is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic lecturer to lecture Statistics, Business Calculations, Analytical Techniques, and related subjects.
Job Description:
To lecture a range of subjects for the Bachelor’s degree, Diploma and Higher Certificate Programmes, from first year to third year level. Rosebank College connected campus is located in Polokwane, the heart of Limpopo and provides quality tertiary education to more than 600 students. RC Polokwane connected campus uses a blended learning model incorporating online and face to face lectures based on three phases: Preparation session, Online engagement and Face to face tutorial. We aim to impart the necessary knowledge and teach students skills to be successful in the workplace along with giving them industry related insight through our lecturers work industry experience.
Minimum requirements:
Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Statistics or related field with calculations and statistics up to second year. Qualification in Education (PGCE or equivalent) or Training and Development an added advantage. Flair for online lecturing and use of technology required. Working knowledge and industry experience in Statistics or similar is advantageous. Good communication skills, organisational skills and excellent time management. A minimum of two years teaching experience coupled with industry exposure. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) like blackboard an added advantage.
