Rosebank College Polokwane Connected Campus is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic lecturer to lecture Systems Analysis and Design and other related subjects.
Job Description:
To lecture a range of subjects (Business information systems, Management information systems, Database, End user computing, Introduction to personal computing, Programming, Computer architecture, Help desk, Systems analysis and design, web development, and digital citizenship) for the BIT degree, Diploma in IT and Higher Certificate Programmes HCSS, from first year to third year level. Rosebank College connected campus is located in Polokwane, the heart of Limpopo and provides quality tertiary education to more than 600 students. RC Polokwane connected campus uses a blended learning model incorporating online and face to face lectures based on three phases: Preparation session, Online engagement and Face to face tutorial. We aim to impart the necessary knowledge and teach students skills to be successful in the workplace along with giving them industry related insight through our lecturers work industry experience. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) like blackboard an added adavantage.
Minimum requirements:
IT Honours Degree (or above) or related field.
Qualification in Education (PGCE or equivalent) or Training and Development an added advantage. Flair for online lecturing and use of technology required. Working knowledge and IT industry or similar and knowledge in software. Good communication skills, organisational skills and excellent time management. A minimum of two years teaching experience coupled with industry exposure. For INPC and End user Microsoft certifications a must (MS 77 418/20/22/23/24
