The IIEs Vega School Johannesburg campus is seeking a part time Lecturer (Independent Contractor) for the second semester of the 2023 academic year.
Job Purpose
Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.

Ideal
- An Honours degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science.
- An Honours degree in similarly related fields with programming or a similarly related field to the third year level and gaming experience.
- Lecturing experience in programming with gaming experience will be an advantage.
- Work experience as a software developer/ application developer/ game developer will be an advantage.
- Prepare for lectures based on provided content.
- Supplement content with own expertise.
- Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours.
- Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed.
- Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

- Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00
