The Position
As our new Legal & Compliance Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting tasks and assume a high degree of responsibility. You will support our senior management on strategic projects, processes, and other ad hoc tasks related to managing the organization and stakeholders. You will support the Legal, Ethics, Compliance and Quality (LECQ) Director.
Your accountabilities will be:
- Work with and support Legal and Compliance Director on devising corrective actions to business ethics/compliance issues.
- Review of contracts monthly and updating of contracts as needed.
- Advise on business ethics compliance issues, including grants, donations sponsorship and template contracts, drafting and review of letters, undertaking compliance risk assessments, marketing code, compliance training and education and manage, handle and report compliance investigation.
- Provide support and collaborate on business ethics/compliance activities including assisting in the roll out of corporate business ethics/compliance/quality initiatives, and reporting on regional business ethics/compliance initiatives, risks, and developments.
- Act in line with ethical standards, quality requirements and local policies and Novo Nordisk Way.
As our new Legal & Compliance Intern, you have a law degree (LLB). Legal work experience would be considered as an advantage.
To be successful in this role you have:
- An understanding of the compliance mandate to protect the organisation.
- Proactive attitude, good presentation, organisational and interpersonal skills, ability to thrive under pressure and to work in a team, problem solving and good judgment.
- Technical Knowledge.
- Fluent in English.
- Computer courses especially word, excel and PowerPoint.
- Interpretation of law and policies.
- Compliance knowledge.
- Office managerial skills.
