As a Legal Assistant in our Corporate Legal Advisory department, you will provide essential administrative support to our legal professionals, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and attention to detail.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification (Matric)
- Experience in the legal scope (preferably).
- 1-3 years experience in a legal administrative role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable transport is a must
- Provide administrative support to legal staff.
- Draft of legal documents and correspondence.
- Maintain and organise files, ensuring all documents are filed and retrieved in a timely manner.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, responding to client enquiries
- Maintain confidential client information with discretion and in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate the filing and submission of corporate governance attributed to companies.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, document management, and client communications.
