A legal secretary is required for an in-house attorney.
Job requirements:
- The suitable candidate should be able to work under pressure and also sometimes be able to work late when required
- Must be able to complete given tasks within prescribed time periods
- The candidate should be someone with drive and determination and attention to detail
- Must be aware of the rules applicable to the different courts and the process and procedure involved in serving and filing of the documents and pleading within the honourable time limits.
- The candidate must have a minimum of at least 3 years’ experience in the preparation of all litigation pleadings and documents in both High Court and Magistrates court.
- Must have exceptionally strong organizational and administration skills including updating of files, keeping of diaries, typing skills
- Must have a good grasp of Word, excel, Microsoft outlook and accurately do Dictaphone typing.
