Summary:
The Linux Engineer with DevOps experience is responsible for managing, administering and supporting Linux-based systems, applications and services in a highly available and distributed environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Linux system administration, networking, and security
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure-as-Code engineering in a cloud-based environment
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Ruby
- Strong understanding of Linux-based systems, storage, virtualization, and networking infrastructure
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or SaltStack
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or OpenStack
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth and dynamic environment.
