Are you a Linux expert with strong enterprise-wide automation and configuration management skills? Are you up for a challenging but rewarding role with a global organization? Can you automate the setup, configuration and management processes of our on-premise, private and public cloud infrastructure, implementing the solutions and tools to deploy consistently across these platforms, and track proactively to resolve configuration drift? Can you simplify and streamline our deployment operations and integration across our teams, boosting productivity, and reducing time to completion for new projects and optimizing existing infrastructure?
Core Infrastructure is the underlying foundation for all IT operations and users. Automating underlying infrastructure life-cycle management streamlines operations and significantly improves productivity, security, and compliance. We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to help build our automation and agile IT-as-a-Service platform. Someone with extensive Linux IT infrastructure experience and automation knowledge who can orchestrate complex workflows and ease the burden of ongoing day 2 infrastructure management across on-premise datacentres, private and public clouds. An individual who can collaborate with other team members and across teams to develop essential automation strategies and deployment processes. You will be an integral part of our team and IT organization helping shape our future.
Skills
Highly Proficient at:
Configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef
Linux Administration and Scripting
Linux server deployments in physical, virtualized and cloud environments
Installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache Web Services, HAProxy, nginx.
load balancing, firewalls, and associated network tools.
Experience with virtualization technologies
Solid background and knowledge of servers, storage and networking
