Who You Are
The ideal candidate is a highly-organised, positive-minded, responsible and a detail orientated individual who is capable of working cross-functionally on the generating sales from various market segments. Ideally, the candidate will have +4 years hospitality sales experience in 4 & 5 star hotels and lodges. This is a mid-level position. You will work closely with the Group Sales Manager to hit group targets and goals. It is a hybrid position.
Reporting to Group Sales Manager, you will:
- Identify, target and manage key domestic and international leisure industry to drive brand awareness through face to face and online collaborations
- Identify new business opportunities in alignment with hotel group targets and strategies.
- Delivery on tangible actions relating to the sales and marketing plan to ensure the company meets and exceeds budgeted targets
- Develop brand awareness via social media platforms in alignment with Marketing strategy
- Develop relationships and partnerships with Leisure agents / operators, Corporates, Travel Agents and Government to attract and attain group and individual business
- Finalising the participation and contracting with Tour Operators, Corporates and Travel Agents to ensure maximum exposure and return on investment
- Act as brand ambassador during familiarisation trips, site inspections and experiences at the properties.
- Together with sales team identify and create b2b and b2c initiatives and offers.
- Presentations and face to face / online sales calls / product training (x 16 per week)
- Weekly and monthly sales reports to share sales initiatives, progress and collaborations with Owners and Directors.
- Manage and update CRM database
- Review and share data with owners and directors that supports strategic business plan, monthly status reports, and development of annual goals; adhere to and manage the sales and marketing budget.
- Together with Sales and Marketing teams create quarterly promotional strategy calendar to help achieve goals laid out in yearly business plan.
- Work closely with revenue management to developing marketing strategies that align with rate strategy and occupancy needs.
- Professionally represent Lion Roars in the community and industry events and trade shows.
- Weekly & monthly reporting to Group Sales Manager & Group Commercial Manager on lead generation
