Transport company based in Raceway Industrial Park, Germiston is looking for a loading clerk to join the day-to-day running of the Closed Network’s Warehouse Loading Bays (Local and Country Routes) which is located on the Customers premises.
Job responsibilities:
- Completion of handovers from previous shift - dealing with exceptions or discrepancies.
- Submitting the vehicle availability report to client.
- Assuring Allocation of correct vehicle types according to load plan, vehicle specs and load specs.
- Updating whats app loading group.
- Allocation of shunters to loading bays.
- Load executions stats and system updated-with client and management.
- Confirmation and execution of loading process: assuring no damages, broken pallets and or incorrect stock is loaded.
- Updating yard manager of completed loads and door availability with every load completed.
- Always assuring safety and security processes are followed correctly in accordance with site and company policies.
Job requirements:
- Willing to work 12 hour shifts for day and night allocations.
- Reliable transport.
- Minimum 1 year transport and dispatching/loading process experience.
- Willing to learn and relieve other operational positions within the network.
