Main Purpose of Job
Provide best cost solution for all FG stock movements, supporting both KCC and KCP business units. Manage monitor and reconcile contracted Transport provider activities and billing.
Provides optimal stock deployment plans to maximise regional stock availability to support the business units in providing the best service at the lowest costs requirements.
Required Qualifications / Experience
- National Diploma in Cost Management Accounting /Commerce, Supply Chain or Logistics or similar financial qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience within an FMCG logistics environment.
- Computer literacy with Excel at advanced level.
- Provide meaningful & accurate daily, weekly & monthly cost accounting information to management to enable sound decision making.
- Prepares weekly inputs for roll ups into the monthly Distribution Cost and allocation, variances and Statistics.
- Review customer Fulfillment plans together with reginal stock holding and planned primary transport movements to insure optimal sourcing of stock resulting in best stock transport solution.
- Issues instruction to Customer Service team for any order change requirements .
- Provide analytical reports to Logistics and finance teams as required and directed.
- Create and maintain Transport route master data in SAP inline with all service provider contracts
- Initiate and maintains all transport, warehouse and adhoc service Purchase requisitions.
- Monitors all Haulers' stock losses and damages and insures service providers are invoiced inline with respected contracts.
- Provide daily review of required stock movements from manufacturing sites, Dcs, contract manufacturing sites, import and overflow sources
- Construct optimal load/ vehicle plan to support best utilization and improved cost.
- Review and reconcile Transport service providers reports and invoices to verify accurate execution of plans and billing.
- Resolve any discrepancies with service providers.
- Review all dispatch and receiving operations with identifying and investigating all deviation against plan. Provide prioritised corrective action plans though operation teams.
- Monitor and report on all Transport relate Cost transformation incentives.
- Insure synchronisation of relevant master data between KC SAP and all 3PL service provider systems.
