Your Personality

• Diploma/ Degree in Industrial Engineering
• SAP experience
• CAD and Excel experience
• Supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and analytical skills.
• Customer relation with track record.
• 3 Years production planning experience in a complex automotive environment

Your Opportunity

• The role entails evaluating processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, assessing existing processes creating process ideas to reduce costs and improve throughput rates, designing and testing process upgrades and new systems, and ensuring logistics operations comply with regulations and safety standards.
• Responsible for Value stream design (VSD) and Value stream mapping (VSM)
• Responsible for logistics layout changes, continuous improvements, racking and material flows.
• Review contractual commitments, customer specifications, or related information to determine logistics or support requirements.
• Determine logistics support requirements, such as facility details, staffing needs, or safety or maintenance plans.
• Evaluate effectiveness of current or future logistical processes.
• Provide logistics technology or information for effective and efficient support of product, equipment, or system manufacturing or service.
• Develop logistic metrics, internal analysis tools, or key performance indicators for business units.
• Analyse or interpret logistics data involving inventory, transportation, or warehousing.
• Support Project Team on Logistics topics with the introduction of new processes, project launches or ECRs, lean checks and processes improvements.
• Identify cost-reduction or process-improvement logistic opportunities.
• Evaluate the use of technologies, such as digitized line feeding processes, Equipment radio-frequency identification (RFID) and route navigation software to improve internal and external transportation efficiency.
• Develop specifications for equipment, tools, facility layouts, or material-handling systems.
• Develop technical specifications for systems or equipment.
• Conduct logistics studies or analyses, such as time studies, zero-base analyses, rate analyses, network analyses, flow-path analyses, or supply chain analyses.
• Apply logistics modelling techniques to address issues such as operational process improvement or facility design or layout.
• Prepare logistic strategies or conceptual designs for production facilities, engage with Regional and Global teams on Compass and organization standards.
• Identify or develop business rules or standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Design comprehensive supply chains that minimize environmental impacts or costs.
• Develop or document reverse logistics management processes to ensure maximal efficiency of product recycling, reuse, or final disposal.
• Determine feasibility of designing new facilities or modifying existing facilities, based on factors such as cost, available space, schedule, technical requirements, or ergonomics.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyse jobs using observation, survey, method study or interview techniques.
• Review global, national, or regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the impact of logistics activities.
