- Maintain detailed, systematic aspects for all logistics inventory control ordering to assist Logistics analysts in maintaining their targets of the following; Fast moving stock, slow moving stock, erratic moving stock, non-moving stock, and obsolescence.
- Prepare the Monthly Inventory actual stock holding against the forecast as well as the budget.
- Prepare the monthly Obsolescence and All Time Supply reconciliation and a forecast. Ensure monthly scrap reports are prepared for sign-off approval to keep excess and obsolescence within agreed budget parameters.
- Ensure that IDIS parameters are in line with projected budgets and overall inventory control and the necessary checks and balances are in place to ensure forecast and budget projections are realistic and achievable.
- Liaise and interact with Group Parts Logistics Analysts on imbalances in their Dispo groups to ensure corrective actions are in place to rectify the inventory levels on an on-going basis.
- Monitor key performance indicators regarding inventory on a daily basis to pick up early on changing trends and possible shortages/over-stock criteria.
- Conduct monthly Airfreight analysis on root causes to ensure the necessary corrective measures are taken accordingly.
- Interact with Kassel IDIS teams and T- Systems and participate in joint user sessions to keep up to date with new developments by regular consultation.
- Load, monitor and maintain local parts and in-plant single parts releases in SAP to ensure correct quantities of single parts are ordered to facilitate P&A assembly production.
- Prepare, initiate, and conduct suitable IDIS based systems training for all logistics personal as determined from the user aids to keep users abreast of changes and enhancements in IDIS.
