The Kamoa Copper Mine, is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To manage and coordinate all shipping and clearing of all inbound cargo to a site (DRC) without penalty and in accordance with DRC and port country legislation whilst ensuring the integrity of all documentation to mitigate any potential penalty. This role ensures complete customs compliance (DRC and port country) - in-house and externally contracted service providers. The incumbent manages contractors and service providers, ensuring deviations are managed, and remedial actions are in place to ensure the shortest lead times and adhere to the Kamoa policies and standards.
You Will Have The Following
- Certificate in Logistics/Supply-chain/Operations
- 1 years of relevant experience in a logistics/supply-chain/operations environment. International experience is required.
- Proficiency in French, English and Swahili is preferred.
- Experience in the mining environment highly advantageous.
