Purpose of the role: Accountable to provide one point of contact for customers and sales teams on order management and supply chain/logistics expertise. Strengthen relationships with customers. Provide excellent customer service, drive efficiencies and deliver on required KC Consumer business objectives.
Minimum Requirements Education And/or Experience
- Matric/Senior Certificate - Required
- Drivers Licence and Own Transport - Required
- Tertiary or Customer Service/Logistics Qualification (NQF level 6) - Advantage
- At least 5 years experience in Customer Service/Logistics in an FMCG Company - Advantage
- FMCG and/or SAP Experience - Advantage
Customer Interaction
- You are responsible for delivering customer excellence for your group of customers and are the point of contact for customer logistics escalations.
- You will collaborate internally with operational teams to produce performance excellence by responding to customer queries, complaints and resolving root causes for customer queries on product orders, deliveries and returns.
- Maintain communication and escalate issues to Team Leaders / Key Stakeholders
- Collaborate with external customers to order up on upcoming promos or risk of stock outs, including the timely and correct implementation of all marketing projects; i.e. promotions, hard and soft rollovers
- Manage and prepare orders for deliveries to specific customers, including daily review of order status and ensuring orders are delivered per customer requirements and KPIs are achieved
- Refer pricing issues to pricing department, communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Review and manage all order related aspects including but not limited to damages, shortages, late deliveries, delivery complaints and requests for log numbers for refused deliveries. Manage requests for log numbers for Bulk customers
- Adhere to Forecast and Critical Stock allocation requirements
- Optimize direct from mill deliveries in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Review product trackers published by Demand Planning, to identify and communicate risks to relevant Customer Managers and Team Leader of customers going over forecast
- Provide visibility on orders status from entry to delivery within the agreed tracker
- Review daily published reports from all key stakeholders, rectify and communicate concerns to all parties concerned
- Review daily demand planning tracker identify and communicate risks to relevant customers manager of customers going over forecast
- Review customer logistics and customer reports
